Orchids are members of the Orchidaceae clan. There are 28,000 species of orchid. 28,000 variations of the same thing.

The Painted Orchid is an album of permutations. It was recorded using a monophonic Moog synthesizer in the Spring of 2022. For each of the thirty pieces on the album the approach to composition remained the same. In essence then, The Painted Orchid is thirty variations of the same thing.
